Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prompetitor (https://prompetitor.com), operated by Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. ("宁波探极科技有限公司", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Use of the service requires your acceptance of cookies and similar technologies, including analytics cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

We do not offer or intend to offer the service to users located in mainland China. You must not use the service if you are in mainland China or if your use would violate local law.

If you access the service from any other region, you do so at your own discretion and are solely responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.

Prompetitor is under active development and may be offered as an external test or early-access experience. Features, scoring rules, artwork pools, availability, and performance may change without notice.

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Account-related requests, including access, correction, export, restriction, account deletion, or erasure of data linked to your account, must be sent to contact@tangi.tech. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

Where a deletion request is eligible under our Privacy Policy and applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account.

This does not include data that has already been anonymized and used in model optimization, training, or similar service-improvement processes, which cannot be retrieved or erased from those systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

Prompetitor is a timed prompt competition. You observe artwork and submit natural-language prompts so that AI systems can generate images, which are then scored for visual similarity and speed.

You agree to play fairly. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: using bots or automation, exploiting bugs, manipulating scores, sharing answers in ways that undermine competitive integrity, creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage, or interfering with other users' experience.

We may void scores, remove leaderboard entries, or restrict access if we determine that conduct violates fair play or these Terms.

Some modes restrict visibility of prompts, generated images, or source artwork until participation conditions are met. You agree to respect these product rules and not attempt to circumvent them.

"User Content" includes prompts, profile information, avatars, feedback, and AI-generated images produced through your use of the service.

You retain any rights you may have in your User Content, subject to the licenses below and the rights of third parties, including artists and image licensors.

By submitting User Content, you grant Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, analyze, and otherwise use that content to operate, promote, improve, and develop the service and related products.

This license includes displaying your prompts, scores, usernames, avatars, and generated images in matches, leaderboards, galleries, result pages, share images, and other in-product surfaces, as well as creating anonymized or aggregated datasets for analytics, research, and model training as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit User Content and that your submissions do not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.

The service uses third-party artificial intelligence systems to generate images from prompts. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unexpected.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated images will match your intent, resemble source artwork closely, or be free from third-party intellectual property concerns.

You use AI-generated output at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility for the substance of AI-generated content.

Ownership and protectability of AI-generated content may vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms transfers rights that applicable law does not permit.

You agree not to:

The service includes artwork from public-domain sources, licensed collections such as the Unsplash Lite Dataset, and works submitted by verified artists.

Your prompts may reference or seek to recreate such artwork. You must not use the service in a way that violates the rights of artists, photographers, museums, or other rights holders.

Artist-submitted works are subject to the separate Artist Agreement.

The service, including its software, design, branding, logos, and original content (excluding User Content and third-party artwork), is owned by Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the service according to these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the service.

You may stop using the service at any time. You may also request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy and Section 4 above.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including licenses granted for content already submitted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be secure, uninterrupted, or free from errors, or that scores, rankings, or AI outputs will be accurate or reliable.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NINGBO TANJI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction to the extent required by mandatory local consumer or data protection law.

Except where prohibited by mandatory local law, these Terms are otherwise governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You agree that disputes should first be addressed by contacting us at the support email listed below. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts or dispute resolution forum with competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date and post the revised Terms on this page.

Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where further consent is required by law.
